Confetti.co.uk ♥

If your getting married, know someone who is or maybe just love browsing anything to do with weddings...then you need to know about the UK's Leading Bridal Website - http://www.confetti.co.uk/

It's not simply a wedding online store but it has a host of articles related to wedding dresses, planning, inspiration and real weddings. I've loved searching through 'real weddings' on confetti.co.uk because it's not the unachievable, picture perfect wedding that some magazines portray! It's someone's REAL wedding, an achievable target and great source for inspiration :) The website is so easy to use, with options to search for items that are in line with colour schemes, as well as a FREE Planning and Budget Tools.

The range at confetti.co.uk is vast and the best part is that there are loads of products that could be used anytime, not necessarily at a wedding. So whether your getting married or not why not go and browse their lovely website.... http://www.confetti.co.uk/ ?

My top picks....

Vintage Pink Rose Garland Length

How gorgeous is this Rose Garland? Confetti kindly offered to send me a couple of their items, these were one of the beautiful items I chose.

This Rose Garland (see here) would look so pretty wrapped around a dressing room mirror, a cute sign or along the top of a bookcase. They are so versatile, especially as they are on metal wire. This means it's easy to secure them almost anywhere without sellotape or glue. The flowers are made to look slightly vintage, which I love and at only £9.98 they are a bargain too!

I also chose this set of Vintage Rose Polka Dot Cotton Bunting (£8.98) in Pink and Blue (see here). At the majority of Tipi and Marquee weddings you see loads of bunting everywhere! It just makes any room look bright and celebratory! Bunting isn't just for wedding's I also have bunting in my living room and bedroom. This bunting is much longer than I was expecting, the scalloped edge fits in the vintage theme and the cute little polka dots add a nice detail.

moneysupermarket.com Charcoal Challenge ♥

Hands up who loves BBQ's?? They define summer and offer the 'men' a chance to show off their skills (or lack of!) at cooking big chunky food on the BBQ! As a vegetarian I don't see a BBQ as full of kebab's, beef burgers, marinated chicken etc, I enjoy the humble vegetable burger, hallumi kebabs, corn on the cob and of course the mass of salads always on offer!! So when money supermarket.com announced they were hosting the Charcoal Challenge I was very excited! They gave bloggers £50 to host their own BBQ, allowing bloggers to show their creative flair on a limited budget.

I initially thought about decorations, I have a relatively small garden so it's easier to decorate on a budget! I bought some beanbag cubes from a sale at my local Tesco, they were only £6 each and were perfect! As it got darker we laid them together and watched the stars. I also bought a gorgeous Moroccan style lantern for when it got darker, which was £10.

Also as part of the decoration I thought about a cheap, yet stylish way of serving the food and drinks. I bought some Milk Bottles (£1 each) and thought they'd be perfect as unique glasses, along with a stripy pink paper straw (99p for 25 from Home Bargains). I served Mojito in the milk bottles, as it's a perfect refreshing BBQ drink!

I also visited the recent 'next' sale and bought two plastic matching summery wine glasses for £1 each - perfect for something bubbly! I also bought some flowery plates for £1.49 and pink spotty napkins for £1 from Sainsbury's.

We had corn on the cob with chilli butter, homemade vegetable burgers (meat eaters had marinated pork belly), lentil salad, green leaf salad, shredded courgette salad and fresh white bread rolls. For dessert we had old school pink wafers, sweet popcorn served in cute bowls (reduced to 50p from TK Maxx) and more mojitos :)

Wedding of my Dreams ♥

The Wedding of my Dreams website is any Bride and Groom's heaven! It's full of stunning, unique wedding decorations and accessories that would be perfect at any style wedding. There's a lovely story behind the company too - a mother and daughter team offering a friendly and personal service, which always appeals to me as a potential customer. Also, they are based in Warwickshire, the county I was bought up and still work in!

There are so many cute, unique products available on The Wedding of my Dreams website, so why not have a browse here. The range of products make The Wedding of my Dreams website suitable for a range of occasions, not just weddings. There are some beautiful candle holders, bunting, cake stands and gifts that would be perfect for other special events too!

I've picked some of my favourite items below...

Sprinkle Me Confetti Bags

Old School Milk Bottles.

Country Style Floral Bunting

Wedding Finger Print Tree Guest Book

Alphabet Stickers Rustic Brown.

No Dad Dancing Sign.

Vintage Alphabet Stamps and Ink Pad.

Candy Pink Striped Paper Bags for Sweets.

Vintage Country Bottles with hearts.

As you can see there is such a lovely range of beautiful products at reasonable prices too! The Wedding of my Dreams kindly offered to send me their 'Rustic Wedding Table Plan with Flower Pots' (£30 each), I was so excited to receive it, as it's so in line with the vision I have for my wedding. It defiantly didn't disappoint, it was packaged very securely ensuring that no damage occurred during transition. The wood has a really nice slightly 'distressed' finish to it, which works really well with a rustic, vintage or country English garden wedding! The flower pots of galvanised silver, therefore off-setting the wooden frame perfectly.

Rustic Wedding Table Plan with Flower Pots.

This is sold as a 'table plan', however the options are endless! We are planning on serving a cocktail in jam jars with paper straws at our drinks reception and when I saw this I instantly thought it would be perfect for holding extra paper straws, perhaps cocktail umbrellas, napkins, cutlery...anything really! I also think it would work nicely as a table plan, they advise you to tie a luggage label around each flower pot. You could also paint on a small blackboard (using black blackboard paint, which is widely available at shops like Wilkinson or Homebase) on the front of each pot, then write the names/ numbers of the tables. You could even use the 'Blackboard Wedding Table Numbers £17.50 for a pack of 5' from The Wedding of my Dreams website, sticking out from each pot of flowers.

Or the Wooden Number Pegs £5 for the numbers 1-10, could be holding the plan for each table on a flower pot.

Any big event is all about finding out what products are out there and then using your own creativity, as well as the internet, to make the product suit your event perfectly :)

Here's how I styled them...
